Gin – Reborn from wine.
2020 was a year to remember, and not in a good way. It all started with some devastating bushfires around the Adelaide Hills which meant that many crops were affected by smoke taint. This included some Tempranillo, Grenache and Graciano destined for Vin’Atus. We made the wine, tested it for smoke taint and decided it wouldn’t quite make the grade, so we sent it off to our local distiller and … turned it into gin!
